After several years dancing and competing professionally, Akile became uninspired by the London Latin scene in the late 90's and set out to develop a vision which catered for Salsa in the new millennium. With a new and unique approach to teaching and a knowledge of the latest R&B sounds, a new brand was developed.
"We knew from the outset that Salsa and it's music needed to move with the times, especially if it was to attract younger individuals to the fold and keep existing dancers feeling stimulated and challenged. With this in mind we make sure that our classes and club nights have something for everyone. We are delighted that we have achieved our goal and are looking forward to a future where modern day culture will benefit from the traditional Salsa scene.
